What to Expect When You are Expecting... to attend Mt Carmel Kids Ministry!
Check-In: Every child is required to check-in upon arrival to the Kids Halls. The first step is to go to the computers in the foyer to receive the child’s name tag sticker and your matching sticker for pick up. If it is your first time you can register upon arrival or ahead of time.
Once your child is checked in a volunteer will make sure they are placed in the appropriate class. They will then stay securely in the Kids Hallway until you arrive to pick them up. Nursery and Toddler parents are able to walk their child back to their classroom for drop off and pick up.
NURSERY & TODDLERS
SUNDAYS 9 & 10AM
Green Room (Nursery)
Our nursery is staffed and available for infants during the Bible Study hour and Worship Service. The nursery divided in order to accommodate lap babies, crawlers, and walkers all in one general area.
Yellow Room (Toddlers)
Once your child is able to walk confidently they will move to the toddler room. This room is equipped with age appropriate toys and activities. Toddlers are introduced to basic Bible stories and songs.
BIBLE STUDY
(SUNDAYS 9:00AM)
Orange Room (PreK3 & PreK4)
Our 9:00 preschool group focuses on building relationships with one another as well as learning that church is fun!
Red Room (PreK5 & K)
Our 9:00 preschool group focuses on building relationships with one another as well as learning that church is fun!
Blue Room (1st & 2nd Grade)
The 1st and 2nd Grade group meets in the BIG HALL. They are currently using Explore the Bible curriculum.
Navy Room (3-5th Grade Boys)
Our preteen boys spend the 9:00 hour diving deeper into discussions about life, church and God.
Purple Room (3-5th Grade Girls)
Our preteen girls spend the 9:00 hour diving deeper into discussions about life, church and God.

Summer Sundays
WHAT IS SUMMER SUNDAYS?
Summer Sundays at Mt Carmel are designed for kids ages 3–5th Grade (Nursery available for 2 and under)
This “VBS”-like experience combines games, crafts, and interactive lessons to teach children about God.
Kids are encouraged to come ready to play, craft, and learn in new ways (that sometimes include getting messy).
Summer Sundays take place during our regular church hours 9:00–11:00 (or however long church lasts).
What if I need to miss a week? No worries! We understand that summer is a busy time for families. Summer Sundays can be attended every week or as often as you are able to come. It is visitor friendly.
What Are We Learning at Summer Sundays?
Kids will see how God’s love for Jacob is the main ingredient that changes everything.
BIG IDEA: God always makes time for us.
BIBLE: Genesis 28:10–22
Kids will hear how God protects baby Moses and works through others to carry out the plan.
BIG IDEA: God gave us gifts that make a difference.
BIBLE: Exodus 2:1–10
Kids will see how Jethro helped Moses learn that sharing the work is the best recipe for success.
BIG IDEA: God makes us stronger together.
BIBLE: Exodus 18
Kids will discover how Deborah and Barak served up a song of praise to tell everyone about God.
BIG IDEA: We make God known when we share our story.
BIBLE: Judges 5
And throughout What’s Cookin’? We’ll explore Psalm 34:8 as our memory verse: “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”
